All it takes is a keen sense of fashion, creativity, and technical skills. Fashion Design is 60% Design, 20% Vision, 10% Communications and
10% Business.
Aim and objective:
Aim:
To impart professional education to cover the whole spectrum of activities in the field of fashion design by providing skill-based and practical learning environment that enable students to maximize employment or business opportunities and to face the challenges of today’s global work environment and society.
Objective:
- To develop skills in apparel designing and garment construction
- To impart knowledge in the manufacturing of yarns and fabrics
- To gain knowledge in the field of textile processing and quality control
- To apply business techniques to fashion and visual merchandising
- To promote career and entrepreneurship in the area of apparels and textiles
