College Grievance Redressal Committee

Notification –   Date: 23 July 18 

This is to notify that the college management has decided to constitute CGRC in Tai Golwalkar Mahavidyalaya Ramtek. Following persons are hereby nominated as the member of CGRC for the session 2018-19.

• Rajesh N. Singru (Principal) – Chairperson
• Vijay D. Raut ( H.O.D. Zoology)-IQAC
• Swatantrata M. Sharma (H.O.D. Botany)-Secretary

The purpose/objectives of this committee are –

• To maintain harmonious educational atmosphere in the college
• To help & timely support to students regarding their Grievances.
• To develop a responsive & accountable attitude among all the stake holders

This is to inform that first meeting of CGRC TGM Ramtek session 18-19 will be held on 3 Aug 18 Friday  4.00 pm at the Principal chamber. All the nominated members of CGRC & other teaching faculties are requested to attend the meeting.

The Agenda of today’s meeting is to frame out the Mechanism of Redressal of grievance.

Meeting Minutes:-

Today 3Aug 2018 Friday 4.00pm a meeting of CGRC held at the Principal Chamber to frame out the Mechanism of Redressal of Grievances.

Chairperson emphasized about the purpose & work of the CGRC – The main function of the CGRC is to ensure the transparency by preventing unfair practices & complains.

1. CGRC handle various/ different types of Grievances of students, staff & faculties.
2. Redress should be classify into Major/ Minor forms it may be in written or in Verbal forms.
3. Any Redress comes in Verbal form it should be included in a Minor redresses
4. The Grievances must be in written complain application form.
5. Written complain application should be enveloped under the heading “confidential” & it must not be consider into general applicability.
6. All the written Academic redress directly goes to Chairperson via Sec. Of the CGRC.
7. Written Redress of all the Girls students, lady staff regarding harassment directly goes to Sec. Of CGRC via Women cell / Internal complaint committee of the college.
8. Written Ragging Redress directly goes to Chairperson in Presence of Sec. Of CGRC via Anti ragging committee of the college.
9. Written Redress related to furniture, light, fan, drinking water, maintenance, cleanliness, Discipline, Sports & other miscellaneous work through Cleanliness & Beautification committee & Discipline committee of the College. Then goes to Sec.  & Chairperson of CGRC with their Action taken report.
10. Rest of the Grievances firstly goes to the Respective particular college committee in- charge then come to the Sec. & Chairperson of the CGRC.
11. Use positive friendly ways to resolve the crisis.
12. Ensure that there is proper investigation of facts & figures related to the problem.
13. Issue of Minor / verbal complaints are dealt by concerned Departments effectively. If not dealt, should forward to CGRC.
14. Action taken report in written form should be submitted to the Committee.
15. If any Grievance came in written Request application form it should not came under CGRC.
