Anti ragging committee has been constituted with the following members, headed by principal of the college to curb the ragging of first year students in any of the college premises. Students are asked to inform/contact the following members at any time if they feel uncomfortable by the senior students.

The Ist Meeting of the Anti-Ragging Committee constituted for the academic session 2014-2015 was
held on 17th August 2014 at 11.00 a.m. in the Principal’s Office to discuss on the agenda.

The Meeting of the Anti-Ragging Committee of the college for the session 2014-2015 started at 11.00 a.m. under the Chairmanship of Dr R.N.Singru , Principal and Chairperson. Initially, the Vice President welcomed all the members and then the meeting started by taking the items of the agenda.
Item No.1:
Confirmation/adoption of reconstitution of Anti-Ragging Committee in compliance with UGC Regulations No.F.1-16/2007 (CPP-II) dated 17.06.2009. The College Authority is well versed with UGC Regulations from time to time and accordingly, regulates in the reconstitution of the Anti-Ragging Committee as well for each academic year.
Item No.3:
Regarding measures to be taken to further consolidate prevention and prohibition of ragging in the college campus, the College Authority has taken necessary steps in consolidating for prevention and prohibition of ragging through its disciplinary procedures and in the prescribed student’s code of conduct manuals from the beginning of each academic year.
Item No.4:
Matters relating to complaint – since there is no single matter of complaint either from the student’s sector or from the Members of staff during the session, which reflects a ragging-free campus.
Since there were no other matter to discuss, the meeting ended with a vote of thanks and regard to all the members present.

The proceedings of the Ist Meeting of the Anti-Ragging Committee members started at 12.30 p.m. under the chairmanship of Dr R.N.Singru , Thereafter, vice President, cordially welcomed all the members to the meeting and afterwards, the meeting followed on taking the agenda item wise.
Item No.1:
To read and confirmation of the minutes of the previous meeting of the Anti-Ragging Committee held on 17 August 2014 The minutes of the previous meeting was confirmed by the Chair.
Item No.2:
Confirmation/adoption regarding the circulars:
(i) UGC Letter No. F.9-1I2013 dated 12 September, 2013 on the formation of Anti-Ragging Cell in
Educational Institutions, and
(ii) M.H.R.D. Anti-Ragging Cell-DL-810 dated 03 .09.2013 & 13.09.2013.
It was unanimously decided that the college will strictly adopt the rules and regulations as per the notifications and accordingly measures will be taken in this matter.
Item No.3:
Regarding matters relating to any complaint from students, it was stated that there was not even a single ragging case in our college during the past or in the present academic session. All students of this college in respective of classes, study in a very friendly and peaceful atmosphere.

The Ist meeting of the College Discipline and Anti-Ragging Committee Meeting of the members for the academic session 2016-17started sharply at 12.30 p.m. under the Chairmanship of Dr R.N.Singru, Chairperson. Initially the Vice president welcomed all the members to the meeting. Afterwards, the business of the meeting was carried forward on the items of the agenda.
Item No.1: To read and confirm the minutes of the previous meeting of the Anti-Ragging Committee held on 27th Sept 2015 The minutes of the previous meeting was approved by the house.
Item No.2: Regarding monitoring measures to prevent ragging in the college campus, it was decided that the Members of the Anti-Ragging Committee will act as squad members for overall monitoring and supervision in the classrooms as well in the campus. Any student found indulge in such cases may immediately brought into the notice of the authority.
Item No.3: Regarding any matters related to complaint, no such cases have been recorded, as a matter of fact; the campus is a ragging free zone.
Item No.4: It was decided by the house that early measures to be taken to further consolidate prevention and prohibition of ragging in the college.

Regarding confirmation of the previous meeting of the Anti-Ragging Committee held on 10th August 2016 the house unanimously confirmed the minutes of the previous meeting.
Item No.2:
Regarding measures taken for eradicating the menace of ragging in the college, it was decided by the members that, ragging should be monitored closely by the squad in and around the campus as a result, the students, particularly the new joiners, should be encouraged to pursue their education without any fear and difficulties.
Item No.3:
Regarding matter relating to complaint, there was no such case before the committee showing that the college campus is free of ragging which had been during the past and the college is still maintaining the status.

Regarding matter relating to any complaints lodged with the Committee, it was decided that not a single complain has been lodged by any student showing that ragging is been prevented in the campus and further measures need to be taken.
