About Society

I have great pleasure in expressing my thoughts as the  President of Shriram Education Society. Education is a process by which a persons body, mind and character are formed and strengthened. It is the bringing of head, heart and mind together-thus enabling a person to develop an all round personality by identifying the best in him or her. It is a humanizing process.

TGMR is being groomed with the mission in the background. A variety of academic, aesthetic, athletic, cultural and social activities are synchronized into a single academic faculty. It is an ambitious endeavour to impart education in an innovative stress-free manner and to encourage a spirit of challenge and competitiveness. I welcome to you to this unique family and look forward to your valuable association with us for better tomorrow.

Dear Parents, and students,
I am privileged and it is my utmost pleasure and honor to welcome all of you to Tai Golwalkar Mahavidyalaya of Ramtek, as the Secretary  of Shriram Shikshan Sanstha(SSS), Ramtek.

Science and Technology play the most vital and important role in nation building. They create new inventions using best scientist to make human life more comfortable, secure and productive. We have excellent potential to grow in diversified areas and excel in science fields. We need enormous number of scientist to write next story of success.

In 1948, when Mahatma Gandhi was assassinated the government imposed a ban on RSS and arrested thousands of its members after which it is very difficult to learn students from sangh parivar in other schools therefore SHRIRAM SHIKSHAN SANSTHA was founded in 1951 with a mission to provide quality education and to inculcate among the students the spirit of nationalism under the guidance and blessings of Shri Guruji.

The Society established Shriram Vidyalaya in 1951 Ramtek and soon this school emerged as the leading school of the city, providing value based quality education. In late 70-71 the school suffered a setback due to destroy by fire but  it was retrieved from the dark period by spirited  committee  under the leadership of  Bansod Sir. The foundation stone of the present building of the school situated at the center of city near Tahasil Office. Then the society established Saraswat Vidyarthi Mandal in 1952, Shriram Kanya Vidyalaya in 1959,Shriram Library in 1960 and Shriram Primary School at Wahitola in 1962. Prominent national leaders, scholars and holy saints visit the school from time to time to bless and guide the staff and students. The schools of this Sanstha provide excellent education and it is ranked among the best in Ramtek.

• Under the stewardship of  Adv. Sadashivrao Pande  a great missionary and visionary who took over as President of  Society,  the committee  strived hard  and brought the society back to its lost glory.
• Sau Kanchantai Gadkari women of firm convictions and devotion became Acting President of the Society and is very ably assisted by eminent educationists and visionary citizens of  Ramtek.
• No donation or capitation fee is charged from the students. The only idea is to impart excellent & comprehensive education.

Here we follow the philosophy of Swami Vivekananda who laid great stress on MAN Making & Character building education. The aim of education in Shriram Schools undoubtedly is the Attainment of Human Excellence and Perfection.

The school lays particular emphasis on the teaching of basic values of Indian culture.           

Taking into consideration the aspirations of the people in the changing scenario of Globalization and Advancement in information technology, a new Science College named TAI GOLWALKAR MAHAVIDYALAYA affiliated to RTM, Nagpur University, Nagpur was established on 2006.

• The college was started with only 10 students and in ten years the strength has gone over 400 students.  This shows the pace at which this college is steadily growing in public esteem.
• The college has now been granted and it is extremely well under the dynamic and visionary founder Principal Dr. Rajesh N. Singru.
• The results have always been likely to 100 percent.
• The campus of the college is very spacious with eco friendly environment.

To keep our students abreast  with  latest techniques,  college has established :

• Modern computer laboratory which is well equipped with the necessary infrastructure.
• The college also has well equipped Science laboratories for Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science.
• The Society has land measuring ten acre to prepare a beautiful sports ground for both school and college.
• Yoga training is provided to every student in both schools and college.
• There is provision for games like Cricket, Foot Ball, Badminton, Volley ball, Table-Tennis, Chess etc.
• Students are encouraged to participate in debates, declamation contests, creative writing, Art & Craft exhibitions at school, inter school state and national levels.
• They also observe national & international days like Independence Day, Republic Day, Teachers day, Children day, Martyrs day etc and important religious festivals. This helps in creating awareness among them to grow up to be responsible and knowledgeable citizens of the country.
